My doorbell cam tripped of by a heron who tried to get an easy meal on my goldfish.

Where we live, we grow up with these birds.
When your fish stays scared down and you see a greasy film in the water u know someone has been diving.

Placed a little wire around the pond, 20cm high, seems to work perfect.

Also possible the launched dust pan scared the crap out of him 🤷🏼‍♂️
