New Yorker writer David Grann discusses his new book "The Lost City of Z: A Tale of Deadly Obsession in the Amazon" at the Museum of Science, Boston.

Grann set out to solve the greatest exploration mystery of the twentieth century: What happened to the British explorer Percy Fawcett, who disappeared in 1925 looking for an ancient civilization he called the Lost City of Z?

Fawcett's fatal quest inspired Arthur Conan Doyle's "The Lost World," and became a point of interest and obsession for scientists and adventurers over the decades who have searched for evidence of Fawcett’s party and the lost City of Z.
