Gary Rossington and Allen Collins announced the formation of The Rossington-Collins Band. In the fall of 1980 they toured to support their first album, Anytime, Anyplace, Anywhere, showcasing a pop-flavoured sound that still retained the Southern Rock essence of their predecessor. This superb set was broadcast on WNEW-FM December 31st, and includes an epic instrumental rendition of Free Bird.🎼🎸🎵🎹☮️
