Emerson 588A - Building a New Antenna Coil (Loop Antenna) w/ Litz Wire

Описание к видео Emerson 588A - Building a New Antenna Coil (Loop Antenna) w/ Litz Wire

Building a new antenna coil (loop antenna) for the little Emerson 588A superheterodyne receiver using Litz Wire that I purchased some time for another project:

My antenna coil winding jig dowel (3/16" diameter dowels) and dimensions of 4" x 8" to fit in the molded plywood cabinet.

A simple formula for "estimating only" the required inductance of the antenna coil below:
(Upper Freq. of Receiver + IF Freq.) squared divided by Upper Freq. of Receiver squared x Local Oscillator Inductance in uH = Antenna Coil Inductance in uH

Excel formula example:
=(1620+455)^2/1620^2*142.9
=234.4436109 uH

The receiver is an AA5 superheterodyne and the schematic for reference:
