Pied Piper of Hamelin (German: Der Rattenfänger von Hameln) is the name of a familiar fairy tale. The story has several versions and they became widespread in Europe during the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. All versions are identical in the main details. The story takes place in the city of Hameln, Germany. As the story goes, in 1284 a lot of rats came into the city and have filled it in every possible area.

When residents of Hamlin saw that you can not get rid of the rats. They despaired.
