India: A History – John Keay / / Folio Society Reviews

Here we have John Keay’s ‘India A History’, first published in a single volume by HarperCollins in 2000, and now re-published by the Folio Society, in series with John Keay’s China: A history.

This praised book of Indian history is spanning 5000 years from the Bronze Age to the present, it’s fully revised and updated and contains 96 pages of color plates, as well as 62 integrated maps.

The book is three-quarter bound in blocked cloth, with front boards printed and blocked with a design by Florian Schommer.

The book is printed on thick and nice Abbey Wove paper and it was printed and bound in Italy. The illustrations are printed on photographic paper.
