The new Klon KTR is directly compared with a Klon Centaur Silver Edition in this drive pedal demo video. Much has been said about the Klon Centaur, many have thrown their respective "two-cents" in about this contentious, but undeniably legendary guitar pedal. These days, the only place to find the mythical item is on auction sites, for what some would refer to as, a lot of money for "just a guitar pedal". Without entering into the ongoing debate on the pedal's quality or price, we prefer to just tell you about what Klon is doing nowadays. Klon released their newest pedal, the KTR Overdrive, earlier this year and they are already in limited supply across the country, and waiting lists are filling up as we speak. One of the main differences in the newest addition to the Klon line is the price, with the KTR selling for almost a third of the price that the originals are now fetching on eBay and similar communities. But, the KTR also offers a switch to change the pedal from Buffered Output Mode to True Bypass Mode, whereas the older versions of the Centaur only offered Buffered Output.
