Roland PD105 (or any other pad) lost sensitivity - and how to solve it.

Описание к видео Roland PD105 (or any other pad) lost sensitivity - and how to solve it.

In 2008 I bought my Roland TD-12 KV and I have loved playing it ever since. But, since I use it this often, wear and tare happens. In this case to my snare pad, the PD105. The cone is less pointy so there is less contact with the drumhead. That makes that soft notes, ghost notes don't register. But I came up with a solution! Felt! I use furniture felt and paste that on the backside of the mesh head, to connect the sensor cone properly with the head again. And it works! Hope it works for you too!
