KOSO RX2+ GP Meter Set Up RZ350 RZ FZ FZR Project Motorcycle Ep7

Описание к видео KOSO RX2+ GP Meter Set Up RZ350 RZ FZ FZR Project Motorcycle Ep7

This video shows how to cycle through the settings on a KOSO RX2+ (Plus) GP style meter. Most of the setup instructions should apply to any motorcycle or at least help you to get started. The KOSO instructions supplied with the unit are not the clearest (at least for somebody with my level of genius). Clearly this video was made setting the unit up on a 1985 Yamaha RZ 350. Other motorcycles are going to use a few different settings. Also, in this video is a simple how-to on measuring the circumference of the wheel you use for your speedometer sensor magnets. Although you will see in the video, I didn’t need to do this because I chose to use a separately purchased KOSO Speed Signal Converter. This part screws onto the existing FZR front wheel speedometer drive hub and will provide the speed signal to the meter.

I have been running this same KOSO model on my custom RZV RZ R6 500 V4 two-stroke for about five years now. It has functioned flawlessly never skipping a beat. I have several more custom 2 stroke project motorcycles in the pipeline and will continue to use the KOSO products on them. I’m not sure but I think that the set up on most of their gauges should be similar.

Stay tuned for more videos of this project and more upcoming projects.
