Parents Empowering Parents
One of the immediate concerns I hear from new trainees involves interactions with the parents on our cases.

We are pleased to offer you a special CASA Lunch & Learn where we will hear from Sarah Newsom and Jessica Bills, local/regional & State Parent Liaisons for DFPS and 2INgage and they will answer all of these questions as well as give us general information about their programs.

• You may be concerned about how to interact professionally and respectfully with the parents?
• Others have questions about the services for the parents.
Or do you wonder if there’s anyone out there holding them accountable?
• And many wonder where the parents can find true help? Or support? Or encouragement?

Sarah & Jessica will address these questions and talk about what a Parent Collaboration Group is, how it operates at the State level and what it looks like locally.
