Hyperextended Front Bow Arm FIX!

Описание к видео Hyperextended Front Bow Arm FIX!

The Elbow Angle is the KEY…..
A fairly common problem in archery technique is a hyper extended front arm. This can lead to serious clearance problems and aside from a possible string rash of the ages it also leads to more problems later in life. If you are double jointed or even if you’re not, locking the front arm puts a tremendous amount of tension in the front elbow. Not only will that lead to injury but it leads to KILLING YOUR ACCURACY. As a rule of thumb “tension” in the front arm at all will cause variations in pressures that change impact point. Having the front arm in a proper position allow for much more string clearance and great arrow flight. It also helps put the humerus in an ideal spot to seat correctly in the scapula this keeping allowing your front shoulder to be in a better position for pulling through the shot better! This is such an important thing for newer archers or archers struggling to pull their weight. As a way to compensate for too much pulling weight they lock out the front arm on the pull. There’s a lot that can go wrong and there is such an increase for inconsistent placement. Remember just think 8 & 2 on a clock. Elbow tip points 8. Thumb points to 2.
