This Math Puzzle is a basic variation of the famous Monkey and Coconuts Puzzle Based on Number Theory.

Question: Three friends, Alexander, Benjamin, and Charles were shipwrecked on an island. They spent the day gathering coconuts.

During the night, Alexander woke up and decided to take his share of the coconuts. He divided the coconuts into three equal piles. He took one of the piles and went back to sleep.

Benjamin woke up next and decided to take his share of the coconuts. He divided the remaining coconuts into three equal piles and realized that there was one extra coconut. He took one of the piles and the extra coconut and went back to sleep.

Charles woke up next and took all the remaining mangoes.

The next day the friends wake up to see that there are no coconuts remaining. They then learn about what each friend did in the night. As it turns out each friend ended up with the same number of coconuts.

Find the minimum number of coconuts they collected the previous day such that such a situation was possible.
