Rajesh Khanna was an Indian actor, film producer and politician was born as Jatin Khanna on 29 December 1942 in Amritsar, Punjab, British India. His Biological Father Lala Hiranand was a Headmaster and his Biological Mother was Chandrani Khanna. Chunnilal Khanna was his Adoptive Father and Leelawati Khanna was his Adoptive Mother. He had a sister Kamla.

Khanna married the budding actress Dimple Kapadia in March 1973. Khanna and Kapadia have two daughters from the marriage; Actress Twinkle Khanna and Rinke Khanna.
