The High Country Creations bed cap lock will make it easy to reliably lock your truck cap from the inside. Whether you’re camping in the mountains or doing some urban exploring, it’s much easier to sleep knowing no one can break into your sleeping space.

Installation of the camper shell lock is very easy, only needs to be done once, and requires no tools to operate after installed. After installation, you will simply engage or disengage the lock when needed.

The bed cap lock is made out of Acrylic Styrene Acrylonitrile (ASA), known for its resistance to UV light, impact, and extreme temperatures. All hardware used is 18-8 stainless steel to reduce the risk of corrosion. Hardware susceptible to vibration loosening are treated with a thread locker, ensuring that you’re never up a creek without a paddle.



Does it fit my truck topper?
There are three criteria your topper needs to meet in order to work with the High Country Creations lock.
1) Locking Mechanism – Your truck needs to have a locking mechanism with sliding bars and some sort of bushing that is anchored to the camper shell that the sliding bar slides through. See the photos in the listing for a good example of this.

2) Sliding rod diameter – The sliding rod diameter must be between .2 and .3 inches. A pair of calipers is a good way to measure this. If you don’t have calipers, you may be able to eyeball it with a tape measure. Or buy a pair of calipers, they’re super nice to have.

3) Back Panel Clearance – The distance between the sliding rod and the back panel can’t be less than .18 inches. Again, a set of calipers is nice to have here. If you still don’t have calipers, you can measure this but stacking about 45-50 pieces of A2 printer paper – if you can slide 45-50 pieces of paper (or more) into that slot, it should fit.



CAUTION: Follow all safety instructions and only use this product when safe to do so. While it is an effective lock, no lock is imperviable to tampering/forced entry. Never use the lock if the included hex key is not properly stowed. If there is ever a mechanical failure and the lock is stuck in the engaged position, use the hex wrench to remove the four counterbored screws to disassemble the lock. Always ensure there is at least one additional exit route available before activating the lock.
