The Denver Broncos are poised to send shockwaves across the entire NFL. This video recaps all the biggest offseason moves and explains why I believe Sean Payton will finally break the team's eight-season playoff drought.

The national media tends to base team grades on last season’s performance without accounting for the significant differences between the Broncos' play in Weeks 1-5 and Weeks 6 and beyond. From Week 6 onward, the Broncos actually had a top-ten defense in the NFL. They then signed Malcolm Roach from the New Orleans Saints, John Franklin-Myers from the New York Jets, and Brandon Jones from the Miami Dolphins. Adding Jim Leonhard to the coaching staff and entering Vance Joseph’s second year with this system, our defense is set to be a serious problem for opposing offenses.

On the offensive side, Sean Payton has finally built a team that can execute his schemes. He managed to bring in Josh Reynolds from the Detroit Lions, a top 15 WR when targeted, and with Greg Dulcich healthy, Devaughn Vele emerging as a standout, and Javonte Williams shedding 11 pounds and returning from a two-year injury, the offense looks ready to explode. And let’s not forget, Sean Payton landed the QB of his dreams in Bo Nix. Bo led all rookie QBs in most meaningful categories throughout the preseason and won the starting job over Zach Wilson and Jarrett Stidham. With a true tight end, a QB who can utilize the middle of the field, and an explosive, healthy RB, our offense will be humming this season.

One of the most underreported stories of the offseason was watching the richest owner in sports spend freely to bring the top football minds to Denver. Jim Leonhard was a candidate for several defensive coordinator roles across the league, but Payton convinced him to take a lesser role with the Broncos. Additionally, David Shaw, a talent evaluation mastermind, was persuaded to join the Broncos' front office in a newly created position.

All of this indicates that the Denver Broncos are not only going to be good this year but for years to come! We are back and have a lot to Bo-Lieve in!
