I want to take this opportunity to talk about why Counter Strike is so awesome, and why it's still so popular. Hopefully Counter Strike 2 is a sign that Source 2 will be used more, potentially leading to Team Fortress 3 or Left 4 Dead 3. This is why Counter Strike will NEVER die...

Valve has announced that a limited test version of Counter-Strike 2 will be released on March 22, but it will only be available to selected players chosen by Valve. The full version of the game will be available for free to all players in the summer of 2023.
