Exploring Japantown, Chinatown, Little Saigon | Seattle International District + Panama Hotel

Описание к видео Exploring Japantown, Chinatown, Little Saigon | Seattle International District + Panama Hotel

Seattle's Chinatown International District (CID or also commonly known as ID)is made up of three neighborhoods: Chinatown, Japantown and Little Saigon. After a quick up of coffee and meeting with Ms. Johnson, owner of Panama Hotel (great tea and coffee here!) I decide to go on a power walk through the area.

I begin with a stroll through Danny Woo International District Community Garden where I say hello to some chickens (LOL) and then cross Jackson Street to Chinatown. In this video, explain where each of the neighborhoods is situated in the ID. As usual, I point out the many of the popular restaurants. After checking out a game of ping pong at Hing Hang Park, I decide to go back where I came from (LOL again) and end my walk at Panama Hotel. I point out a few Japanese restaurants, including Maneki which is Seattle's oldest Japanese restaurant.

Hope you enjoy this power walk!
