Sebastian Stan and Jeremy Strong talk to “Extra’s” Teri Seymour about “The Apprentice,” their new Donald Trump biographical drama. Stan plays Trump in the 1970s as he seeks independence from his father’s influence and enters Manhattan real estate with support from notorious lawyer Roy Cohn, played by Strong. Jeremy spoke about the “fortuitous” timing of the release weeks before the 2024 U.S. presidential election, after a lot of fear in Hollywood meant it took years to come together. Sebastian shared what it took to transform into Trump with hair and makeup, which he confessed was “a very anxious process” of trying to do the right amount. Stan also opened up about leaving “uncomfortable” behind and taking on the role despite strong opinions and fears. “The Apprentice” is out October 11.
