"Good day, I am Sandra Moonsamy-Malina, Pastor of the free church AIM, in Schloss, Mansfeld. The title of my message today is: Healing People & Our Land 2 Chronicles 7:14 tell us, “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” This bible verse clearly shows us God’s willingness and readiness to heal people and our land. There are so many people, who are sick in their heart, their soul, and body. Doctors try their best, even with various medications. But some sickness and pain is not always healed the natural way! What else can one do to bring about healing in people and our land? 1. Firstly, we must know that everyone is born with sin. And this is a fact of life. Therefore, our God sent His Son Jesus, to die for the sins of the whole world. So that we may also know Him as a loving heavenly Father. John 3:16 tell us about this. So, if You believe in Your heart that You’re a sinner and Jesus died on the cross, for Your sin, acknowledge this. Ask Him to forgive You, to clean You with the Blood of His Son, and make Jesus Lord of Your life. When You do this, You immediately become His Child. This is called being, “Born-again and Saved”. You’re like a new baby in Your spirit, with no sin. 2. Secondly, even after You are saved, there is a daily process of choosing to live for God, by obeying His Word. You now have the privilege of coming boldly to God as Your Father and talking to Him. It’s called praying. We must humble ourselves like this before Him, and turn away from our own wickedness. We must pray for others too, like our family, our neighborhood, our city, our nation, and our land. They also need to know God as their Creator and heavenly Father. 3. Thirdly, God promises that when we turn away from our sin and pray, and seek His face, what’s on His heart, He will hear from heaven, forgive our sins, and people’s sins, and also heal our land. What a wonderful promise! So be consistent in prayer. Gradually, you will see the change! Join me in prayer if You believe this too: “Father, I give You my life. Please forgive my sins and clean me with the Blood of Your Son Jesus. I want to be Your Child, to know You as my heavenly Father. I pray for people too, for their healing and the healing of our land. In Jesus’ Name. Amen”
