Modeling the Huge "F" Scale Trestle at Garagemahal - Part Two - The Trestle Bents (Legs)

Описание к видео Modeling the Huge "F" Scale Trestle at Garagemahal - Part Two - The Trestle Bents (Legs)

This week we are continuing work on the huge trestle that crosses the big 12-foot high canyon on the large-scale railroad at Garagemahal.

In part one of this series, we modeled the main structure of the trestle. If you missed that video, you can watch it here:    • Видео

The Trestle connects the switching yards and locomotive shops to Alamosa, Schitt's Creek, and through the outside wall to the garden railroad in the yard.

This week we are building the bents, the tall legs that support the deck and track. Bents are support structures built from square beams. Often such structures are bridges where the supports are round posts or piles driven into the ground rather than bents made to stand on concrete footings. But in our case, we are building a trestle with bents.

If you've followed the first video closely, then you'll have all the techniques you need to model this bridge and the track! Don't hesitate to watch the video again if you need a refresher. We hope you enjoy modeling this bridge as much as we did!
