I was meeting a friend in Deshler and was looking for somewhere to take a break in the journey from O'Hare airport, and found the Kendallville Terminal Railroad in Kendallville on the map. I was just planning to explore a bit and see what was there, but when I got to the end of the line (its only 1 mile long) they were just starting to switch cars at the Heinz factory with a low nose GP9. I stayed quite a bit longer than planned and had to leave before they were finished. I was also starting to get wet as the rain came down.
The factory was originally Kraft and makes Caramel candies.
