New Ground Testing On The Nation River

On this episode I finally get to test out the new cell, I purchased adjacent to my Nation River claim that I amalgamated into my existing claim. I tested with a metal detector in the hopes of finding a nugget or two. Then I did test pans every hundred feet to see what there was. The ground is down stream of my existing claim. This was filmed in late July when the water finally came down and exposed the gravel / rock beach. From late April till mid July the area is under water and can't be accessed. As the fall approaches I hope to do more exploring in this area as the water level lowers. The rocks there are amazing but the hill to pack them out is brutal. I hope to get down there and pack out rocks that I can cut into slabs and polish up and sell on our eBay store.
