So...which is worse? Turboing out 3 Towers or Kali Yuga?

For a more in-depth guide for Raidraptors, check out this video by @Daimax    • BIRDBIRDBIRDBIRDBIRDBIRDBIRDBIRDBIRDB...  . My decklist was also heavily inspired by his so do give his video a watch!

Bird is the word, and goddamn is Raidraptors a crazy deck. Commonly known as a complex big brain deck that ends on the most brain dead endboards of Kali Yuga with negates and a Towers has now deviated from removing fun for the opponent to frustrating them by making 3 big Towers in the form of double Rising Rebellion Falcon and Ultimate Falcon, plus a board wipe and an omni negate.

PHNI has introduced much needed support for the deck. Bloom Vulture acting as a pesudo starter, extender and great going 2nd card all in one, and Noir Lanius gives the deck a way to search Heel Eagle to synergize with some of the new Spell/Traps as well. Roost is the modern twist the deck needs by searching a Spell/Trap whenever a Raidraptor Extra Deck monster is summoned and recycles 3 Raidraptor cards and a draw 1, providing an otherwise combo-heavy deck some grind game. Rise Rank-Up Magic coincides with their new boss monster, the 2nd Rank 13 monster, Rising Rebellion Falcon. A beefy towers monster that blows up the opponent's board on summon and copies the effects any Raidraptor Xyz in the grave, providing great utility for going 1st and 2nd and just an overall asshole to remove. Brave Strix in tandem with Raider's Knight, provides the deck the ability to play through Droll and Nibiru which would otherwise normally hurt the deck greatly, by giving access to Arsenal Falcon on 5th summon meaning even after getting Nib'd or Droll'd access to disruption with Glorious Bright and/or Ultimate Falcon. Another new card exclusive to the TCG is Swallow's Cowrie acting as a Winged Beast Small World, not only for added consistency but gives the deck the ability to play around Imperm which would otherwise be pain to deal with for the deck.

The general combo is to go into Raider's Knight into Brave Strix into Arsenal Falcon, access to Roost via Mimicry Lanius to grab Glorious Bright, Rise Rank-Up to make Rising Rebellion Falcon to copy Force Strix to further extend and recycling Rise Rank-Up to summon the 2nd Rising Rebellion for 3 towers, a board wipe and an omni negate with follow-up. And this can be accessed with just any 2 Lv4 Dark monsters. And like many modern combo decks, it has plenty of space for non-engine while staying consistent enough to combo off.

The deck is by no means perfect especially in Snake-Eye format. Droll still hurts if the hand lacks extenders, Labrynth is a struggle for the deck, and despite its non-linear combos and plenty of extenders, it's gameplan is very obvious in Towers turbo which can be tech'd for extremely easily if it ever becomes more relevant. It also struggles going 2nd against Snake-Eyes and Snake-Eyes Fire King who have a bunch of disruption and follow-up to eat through the many extenders the deck has.
