Some of the most keen and enthousiastic kitesurfers and foilers of Qatar give you the scoop of the Katara kite beach. The ideal wind direction.. rocks hiding under the water.. what the rules are, what to do and also what not to do!

Katara Kite Beach works really well with winds with an Easterly component. When the wind is northwesterly, it gets very gusty and can be difficult to kitesurf properly.
Katara Kite Beach is not a beach for kitesurfing beginners or lessons.
We recommend with wind below 15 knots, to go kiteFOILING only.
Winds above 15 knots, kitesurfers are welcome to.
