i missed making concepts like this !! a lil quieter than usual to try and make it sound as realistic as possible (i actually made the vocals a bit louder so you could hear them better + heightened the bass so it feels like you're only walls apart). it's supposed to sound like they're your upstairs neighbours singing on the balcony above urs or smth hh anw, i suggest listening on max volume to get the full effect !!

also, ig this edit feels more au-ish but i tried hinting at our realities too. since this song is abt feeling burned out, i wanted to depict that feeling of being so overwhelmed you just feel stuck and unmotivated to do the things that once made you feel excited; until you find that one small opening that helps you drag yourself out that dark hole. in this edit and my real life, that opening is bts' music. sometimes making these videos can be draining especially when i've run out of ideas or when i feel pressured that my ideas aren't as good as the last. but i always find inspiration as i listen to their songs. they help me imagine stories i wanna tell or other realities i wanna visit.

so in a way, ig they are my upstairs neighbours - maybe not in a literal sense, but in every other way : )
