People were surprised by the transformation of the sidewalk after it was cleaned up | Cleanup Lawn

Today, our group continued volunteering to clean and trim the weeds on the sidewalks of a densely populated urban area. The grass growing along the sidewalk had spread out onto the road and blocked the drainage system. We cleared all the grass, revealing a layer of soil that completely covered the drain, which meant we could only scoop out the soil and couldn't open the drain cover. While cleaning, we found a clay pot that someone had discarded under a tree. In the end, we transformed the appearance of the sidewalk, and the residents here were very happy to see us accomplish this.
Due to the lack of funds and machinery to trim the grass close to the inside, we could only clean the area on the outside. After that, we cleaned up the trash, put it in bags, and brought it to the trash bins. I didn’t put grass and soil in the trash bins to avoid overloading and causing difficulties for the garbage collectors since their job is already very exhausting.
