Javarisi Vatthal, also known as Sabudana Papad, is a popular Indian snack made from sago pearls. To prepare it, sago pearls are soaked overnight , drained, and then mixed with spices and seasonings like salt, green chili, cumin seeds, ajwain,dry ginger powder,black jeera,white pumkin and lemon. The mixture is then spread thinly and evenly on plastic sheets and left to dry in the sun until it hardens into papads. These papads are then fried or roasted to make them crispy and ready to eat. Javarisi Vatthal is enjoyed as a crunchy accompaniment to meals or as a standalone snack. Its savory flavor and crispy texture make it a favorite among many Indian households.
