At the time of this upload, Inktober 2017 is only a month away! But in this video I show all of the drawings I did for Inktober 2016. I didn’t get the chance at the time to upload them one by one as I made them (which is supposed to be part of the challenge) nor did I follow the official prompts. But I did successfully make 31 ink drawings within the 31 days of October 2016 (barely I might add!!). It was the first time I participated in the Inktober challenge, and oh boy, was it a challenge. Hopefully I will be successful this year as well!

All illustrations (except for two as I explain below) feature my own concepts, OC’s, and worlds that are either from my stories or just made up at the moment of drawing.

During day 4 ( 0:15 ), I got sick and really didn’t feel like drawing but I didn’t want to fail the challenge either, so I remembered a drawing I saw while I was researching the challenge and decided to just basically do the same thing (a bit sloppier I might add). And the drawing at 1:35 is a fanart of Gaara from the anime Naruto

A couple of these drawings ( 1:35 and 1:52 ) I ended up turning into full-color digital pieces (including the Gaara one)! You can find them here:

Eraser
Cardstock & Bristol board
Quill pens & India ink
Grey Copic markers (when I was feelin’ lazy)
Pigma micron liners
White Gelly roll pen
Masking tape (for taping wet drawings to table to prevent warping)
