Floor insulation with robots by Q-bot

Here are the latest robots working! Of course, each robot has a name and staring in the video is ‘Annie’, named after Annie Edson Taylor who was the first person to take the plunge over Niagara Falls in a barrel and live to tell the tail.

The new robots are easier to manufacture and assemble and more intelligent than previous generations too. They are tough remotely operated vehicles that that can drive through hazardous and confined spaces accurately applying insulation. Each robot has 4 powerful drive modules as well as suspension which allows it to drive over loose terrain and the spray nozzle sits on a motorised platform. There are three cameras as well as lights so the installers can see exactly what’s going on. It is operated using a games pad which makes it super easy to control.
