One of the most debated topics in the Megami Tensei community are theories about a canon multiversal timeline. Many MegaTen fans are interested in the idea of mapping out the entire franchise into a diagram clarifying series canon; connecting Shin Megami Tensei, Persona, Devil Summoner, Digital Devil Saga, and even Last Bible together. One part of this massive web that's often taken for granted is the idea that the Neutral route is the canon ending for SMT1, leading into SMT2.
