In this episode, Phil Wagner, MD, CEO & Founder of Sparta Science, talks to Sergeant Major of the Army Michael A. (Tony) Grinston, US Army (Ret) and Director/CEO of Army Emergency Relief, about understanding the diverse groups we belong to and the varying roles we play in those groups, encouraging a nuanced perspective of oneself, one's squads, and one’s squadmates.

They discuss:
The recognition that we each belong to multiple squads. These extend beyond the military or business sphere to encompass squads in our personal lives.
Within the dynamics of these squads, there exists the adaptability to assume different roles. A noteworthy example includes transitioning between the responsibilities of a squad leader and those of a squad member.
Emphasizing a squad mentality that focuses on achieving the maximum potential, rather than the minimal objective, fostering an environment where the entire squad can flourish.
