An odd phenomenon, a rock that rings when you hit it. Scotland has four, this one being the easiest to access. It is right next to the A939 road, just north of the pretty Gairnshiel bridge, which is also worth a quick stop to admire it. I've put a bit of commentary on this so I hope you can hear it. It is believed that the rock rings out due to a fairly high Iron content.
