Citizens of Orasje in Northern Bosnia remained determined that
they were not going to allow the area to pass to the Serbian
hands. Orasje is a Croat held town in Northern Bosnia bordering
the Serbian corridor and claimed by the Serbs as a means of
expanding the corridor. Serb-held parts of western and
eastern Bosnia was the territorial issue which held up a
successful conclusion of the talks in Dayton on the future of
Bosnia-Herzegovina.
