"One Less Plane For Putin" German MP Backs Ukraine Strikes In Russian Airspace As US Denies Curbs

US President Joe Biden will meet with Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky in Normandy, France this week. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said Biden will “talk about the state of play in Ukraine and how we can continue and deepen our support for Ukraine." Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Russian forces were focusing their main firepower on the eastern Donetsk region. The US is committed to working with European countries to use frozen Russia assets to benefit Ukraine, according to US State Department. The US gave Kyiv permission at the start of the war to down military aircraft flying in Russian territory if they pose a threat to Ukraine. Chair of the Bundestag Defense Committee also made a similar comment on Ukraine shooting down Russian planes. Watch the video to find out more.
