About EWoB
European Women on Boards (EWoB), a Belgian non-profit organization advocating for gender diversity on boards and at leadership teams. It is constantly growing network of senior European leaders supporting gender diversity. The commitment of EWoB is to help corporations to achieve the change by developing talents and skills of senior business women, who will become ready to take on the top positions with international visibility and board mandates, and also by mediating the sharing of best practises at the European level.


About EWoB Gender Diversity Index (GDI)
EWoB GDI was launched in 2018 as the first research of its kind focusing on executive and decision making bodies of the 600 companies listed on STOXX Europe 600. GDI 2020 provides insights on gender diversity of leadership teams in European corporate world by countries, industries and companies.
GDI is a unique research tool supporting EWoB to make an insightful and valuable contribution to European policy debates on measures to foster gender equality in decision making. It has directly supported the European Commission in setting the strategic targets in the EU Gender Equality Strategy 2020-2025.
