(207) ACRYLIC POURING - Dutch Pour VARIATION - Part 3 of Iris Flower Series - ABSTRACT

Today I'm creating another variation of the Dutch pour in my Iris Flower series...I think it's my favorite so far, in colors and composition, even though it's pink!! Who knew?! I am having a blast creating this series...the color possibilities are endless and you can never go wrong being inspired by nature! Paints used: Chromacryl Acrylic Essentials in white, Grumbacher Thio Violet, Liquitex Cad Red Light, Soho Cad Yellow Deep, Fine Touch Violet and Arteza Pearl Pink. Each of these were mixed with 1 part paint, 2 parts Floetrol and 1/2 part water plus a bit more water if necessary to thin.

The base was mixed 3 parts paint, 5 parts Floetrol and 2 parts water, when using Artist's Loft Flow Acrylic White. With the Chromacryl, you need to add a considerable amount of water as it is much thicker. (I used approximately 2 parts paint, 5 parts Floetrol and 4 parts water!)
