This one was a super-involved and time-intensive project that spanned over the last couple months of working on it off-and-on between actual work.

I got a couple Game of Thrones opening theme music box movements and wanted to make a music box for it. The Dragon Egg box seemed a given, but then I realized I wanted to make eggs to go in it, and it just kind of spiraled from there.
