2024 ASSC Annual Gala: Medical Visionary Honor

LOS ANGELES, May 19, 2024 — At the Asia Society Southern California's (ASSC) 2024 Annual Gala, Dr. Richard Lee, Cherng Family Director’s Chair at the Center for Integrative Oncology of City of Hope, receives the Medical Visionary honor. In his speech, Dr. Lee credits his curiosity about his Asian heritage for uncovering the healing power of both Eastern and Western medicine in promoting cancer cures and providing holistic patient care. Dr. Edward Kim, Physician-in-Chief and Senior Vice President of City of Hope Orange County, presents the award to Dr. Lee, highlighting his innovative leadership in developing a new oncology program to combat cancer.
