Why poster board paper and not regular copy paper?

Well, for one poster board paper is thicker than regular copy paper. Also, adding laminate film to the poster board paper gives it protection from water or ripping damage. So you’ll have a picture that’ll last you for a very long time!

Why sublimate it instead of just printing?

Well, sublimation tends to transfer colors better than regular printing. Also, my home printer is a basic laser printer— Which may not work well with vibrant colors as well as a sublimation printer would.

This same method can be applied to a canvas! You will also have to add laminate film to it so that all of the colors transfer over.
