As Investigators Brian (leading) and Joe (trailing) descend the stairwell, Investigator Doug turns on his flashlight and trains it on the stairwell and the beam appears to show a shadow apparition blocking out the illumination of the left-side of the stairs as Brian acknowledges seeing a hazy fog in the stairwell. Brian calls out to Doug and Laurah who initially report no fog on the lower level, then, as they approach the stairs, Doug, too, acknowledges seeing the haze in the stairwell. After both Brian and Joe both pass through the apparent apparition it is seen to dissipate allowing full visibility of the stairs. While the apparition is visible on the video, it was not seen by any of the four investigators present, despite all four seeing the haze, and two of them seeming to pass directly through the shadow. This sequence occurred immediately following four separate pieces of equipment (Ovilus, Audio Recorder, IR Light Source, and Mobile Video Camera – camera inexplicably somehow continued recording however) shutting down simultaneously from unexplained battery drain at the same time as an unidentified beeping was heard. This video also corresponds to video captured by the mobile video camera (CAM4) being operated at the time by Brian.
