Hapuka are a very tasty and highly sought after fish around Australia and New Zealand. In order to target them, you must have top notch gear and must pick your days to steam out 2hrs to get the fishing grounds. But the rewards are well and truly worth it, as the fishing grounds are almost untouched due to the time and effort required to catch these awesome fish, as well as the fact the grounds are only accessible by trailer boat a few times a year due to poor weather.
