Jesus clearly said ...... Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes …
Throughout human history this has been the case. However, it’s only recently that we now have the devastation of war piped into our living rooms 24/7. And so the question ‘Does God even care?’ becomes even more paramount.

We now see (what God has been witnessing for eons) the reality of human greed, pride, selfish ambition on the one hand, we also witness the goodness, compassion and care as well. This for me is a classic example of the result that comes from ..... that humans were not designed to cope with.
The question still thunders in us Does God care?

And as the classic answer state .....!
God never forsakes us. God never abandons us. .....

So, a BIG YES - God does care with what’s happening in Ukraine and every other war-torn area.

Prayer: Christ our Lord, thank you for the sacrifice you made so that we are never apart from you. We pray that people in Ukraine and others around the world who are affected by disasters will know your grace, care and love.
