The deceased student has been identified as Sandeep Kaur, a resident of Naushera Pannu, who was pursuing her studies at the law college. The accused, identified as Prince Raj Singh, a resident of village Mallian, allegedly shot Sandeep Kaur in the forehead, killing her on the spot.
After committing the crime, the accused turned the weapon on himself and died by suicide, resulting in the death of both individuals at the scene.
