A FAKE Gibson Les Paul Standard Guitar (Chibson)

At http://www.crimsonguitars.com we often see some very nice guitars for repair or restoration but when our client opened up this case I knew we were in for something a bit different. A genuine fake Gibson Les Paul custom made in China. Does that make this a 'Chibson'?
This was in fact made by one of the workers in the Chinese Epiphone factory, so how good is it? How can we spot the fact that it is a fake Gibson guitar? What do you think?
