Ingredients:
225g cheddar cheese, cut into 2cm thick slices
225g cream cheese, cut into 2cm slices
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon dried basil
½ cup olive oil
½ cup white vinegar
3 garlic cloves, minced
Salt & pepper
Optional:

1 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
3 tablespoons spring onions, chopped
Serving suggestions:

Pitted olives, sliced
Roasted red pepper slices
Cherry tomatoes, halved
Crackers or sliced baguette

Method:
1. Alternate the cream cheese and cheddar cheese slices into rows in a Medium Baker dish and set aside.
2. Make the marinade by mixing the remaining ingredients together, and then pouring it over the cheese
3. Cover and marinate the cheese in the fridge overnight
5. Serve the next day with fresh herbs on top and your choice of added serving suggestions on top
