Alabama is a state that locks up more of its population than most countries on Earth. Yet its prisons are among the few state institutions to which the public and the media are denied access. A new documentary, "The Alabama Solution," takes an unprecedented look inside Alabama's prison system through a network of prisoners willing to risk it all to record their experiences. Filmmakers Andrew Jarecki and Charlotte Kaufman speak to Hari Sreenivasan about how the documentary's shocking revelations are inspiring a campaign for change.
