Straight Chase Patterns VS Double Chase Patterns

Описание к видео Straight Chase Patterns VS Double Chase Patterns

All "Beat Juggles" contain root movements. A root movement is the primary basis of any given pattern of hand moves that influence the way a "Beat Juggle" sounds. Think of it as the "home" of the "Beat Juggle" you're performing.

Take for example DJ Shortkut's "Strobe" aka "Chase" pattern. It's root movement derives from my #NobodyBeatsTheBiz "Swing" patterns. Shortkut's omission of the backspin contained in my "Swing" pattern (the root move) transforms the "Swing" into a "Chase" because the pattern goes from a curling motion to a linear one. Hence, it's built off a root "Beat Juggle" move.

The best "Beat Jugglers" understand how to layer the root move of a pattern by executing extra record and fader hand moves to achieve a more powerful, dynamic and denser, if you will, "Beat Juggle".
