Welcome to a new three-release edition of Dungeon Synth Sunday

For my first feature today, I present the latest release from Finnish medievalist, Squire.

Three tracks of arcane melodies and rich forest ambience drawn from the mystic depths of antiquity. Another great cover too, following in the winter footsteps of Blessing of the Lady’s flame and blade photo comes an even darker, sinister image, with our protagonist almost consumed by the woods. A fitting illustration for the music within.

Squire says ‘This demo was recorded in January MMXXVI under the deep understanding of the necessity to fully restore the Middle Ages. It is dedicated to all those who share the same dream….’

The album is available in self-released digital format from Squire’s Bandcamp now, with tapes due to be released through Dale of Shadows in March
