🎙️ This week, I sat down with Abia Akram, a leading disability rights activist in Pakistan. Recognized by the BBC as one of their 100 Women in 2021, Abia has significantly advanced the cause of disability rights. She founded the National Forum of Women with Disabilities, is a trustee for Sightsavers, and leads initiatives like the Ageing and Disability Task Force and STEP. Abia has also been the first woman with a disability from Pakistan to receive a Chevening Scholarship.
