iPhone 12 / 12 Pro Otterbox Defender Pro Case

This is a review of the Ottebox Defender Pro Series case for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro.

I picked up this case at Walmart for only $20!!! It said it was around $39 on the shelf but I was surprised with the discounted price when checking out. You an also pick this up at Best Buy but it's still showing a price in the $35 range.

This is a two part case (technically three in my opinion). So you have the rubberized on the outside that you touch and feel. Then inside it encases the iPhone 12/12 Pro. So you are getting some maximum protection with this bad boy.

According to the box, it claims that this case has been test to meet 4x the Military drop testing. So that is going to give you some major confidence when the time comes that you accidentally drop this. You should be good! With this case, it doesn't come with a built in screen protector. So I would recommend putting on a tempered glass if you want to keep that pretty new Ceramic Shield free from scratches.

Once on, the case actually feels really good in the hand. Even though it is a rugged case, and adds some bulk to the phone, it hides that bulk well.

The box does say it's wireless charging compatible. So it technically is MagSafe charger compatible. You will have to skip to 12:04 to see the MagSafe charging test. It's a little weird! I do feel that it would pass a Qi wireless charger test.
